    • Removing replaced oil filter. drained oil and refilled with 15 quarts of 15W40. vehicle is not equipped with a maintenance light. stickered vehicle for 5,000 miles at 259462. double check oil level confirming service complete.
    • Removed OEM block heater cable and installed customer provided replacement. found customer provided part to be too short to route in the same locations as OEM. rerouted along the frame putting plug in back in the same location as previous.
    • General Inspection – Priority List – Priority One. 1 brake inspection with brake flush. 2 coolant pressure test. 3 diagnose hydro boost / master cylinder, engine ,and transmission leaks. 4 diagnose codes. Priority Two. 1 license plate light. 2 wiper blades. Priority Three. 1 fuel filter. 2 tire rotate. 3 air filter. 4 oil change. Inspection Findings – SEL- Code list – multiple repeating codes in the engine and anti-theft codes. recommending to clear all codes and reevaluate to diagnose Wiper Blades – wiper blades are a little worn recommend to replace Lights (Head, Brake, Turn) – driver side license plate light is out recommend to replace bulb and recheck. Brake Fluid – brake fluid is highly contaminated and master cylinder and or hydroboost are leaking recommend to clean and add dye to power steering system and perform brake flush. Brakes (Pads/Shoes) – front pads are extremely low and all four rotors have hot spots recommend performing brake inspection Under vehicle fluid leaks. – signs of coolant leak possibly water pump recommend performing pressure test. transmission inline filter as signs of leaking suspecting possible clamp. recommending to clean, replace clamp, and add dye to transmission to confirm leak. engine is also leaking oil suspecting coming from engine valley recommending to clean and add dye By time and / or mileage. – manufacturers recommending brake inspection, replacement of air filter, oil change, fuel filters, and tire rotate.

    • Removed drive train assembly to gain access to rear main seal and cover. Removed and replaced both cover and seal and reinstalled drivetrain assembly. Found exhaust hardware at manifold flange damaged, removed and replaced exhaust hardware. Removed and replaced oil and filter. Restickered for 5k. Road tested vehicle and found no issues with repairs.

    • Removed colmun cover and found shifter housing assembly is damaged / broken, recommending replacing shifter assembly.
    • Found shifter housing broken, causing wipers to activate due to additional shifter housing movement.
    • General Inspection – Priority list – Priority One. 1 shift linkage. 2 brake flush. 3 oil change. Priority Two. 1 front end inspection and tire rotate. 2 wiper blades. 3 lower oil pan. 4 diagnose codes and clear all other. Priority Three. 1 brake inspection. Inspection Findings – SEL- Code list – antilock brake codes c1223, c1247. tire pressure monitoring codes z2121, c2122, c2123, c2125, c2142. recommending to diagnose ABS codes and clear all other Oil Life % – cannot make our oil change sticker out Wiper Blades – wiper blades are a little worn recommend to replace. Brake Fluid – brake fluid is a little contamination recommend performing flush. Tire pressure & condition – tires have some inside recommend performing for an inspection. By time and / or mileage. – manufacturers recommending to perform brake inspection, tire rotate, and oil change.
    • Removed and replaced shifter assembly, did notice that new shifter assembly is a heavier metal which should help prevent this from happening again. Retest confirm shifter now functioning without interfering wiper arm.
    • Lifted car and started to drain oil, once oil was done draining, removed skid plate and replaced oil filter, tightened oil filter and drain plug down and cleaned off. Replaced skid plate and lowered vehicle, filled up with 5w30 synthetic blend with a can of BG MOA oil additive, 6.5 quarts. Started vehicle and checked oil level, replaced sticker and reset maintenance light.

    • Found battery drained when vehicle dropped off, performed fast charge and re tested battery, battery failed. Recommend replacing battery and re-test charging system.
    • During vehicle inspection found: Cabin air filter: recommend to replace cabin air filter due to being dirty
    • Replaced battery, added terminal protectant, Retested and verified start / charging system performing with in spec's.

    • Was able to extract both plugs without damaging. check fluid level and condition confirming fluid to look new and level to be good. no need to perform transfer case fluid exchange at this time.
    • Performed front diff fluid service, drain front differential and refilled with 2.1 pints of 75w90 gear oil.
    • removed air filter and serviced using k&n kit. reinstalled new filter confirming service complete.
    • customer state of vehicle has an exhaust smell at times when driving, has not noticed any exhaust noises in a.m. and when CT drove customer home no smell noted by customer. Visually inspected exhaust system and found no obvious signs of exhaust leak. Using smoke machine confirm no exhaust leaks present at this time.
    • General Inspection – Priority List – Priority One. 1 brake flush. 2 front axle u-joints. Priority two. 1 tune-up. 2 clear codes. 3 serpentine belt. Priority three. 1 oil change. 2 tire rotate Inspection Findings – SEL- Code list – Central gateway codes b1630, b16 to see, b1638, b1634, b16 48, b1820. suspecting codes to be present due to aftermarket lights. recommended clear and reevaluate Brake Fluid – brake fluid is contaminated recommend performing flush. Belts (Engine, accessory, serpentine, V-drive) – serpentine belt is the original equipment recommend to replace by mileage. Air Filter – k&n air filters a little dirty will be servicing it at this time. Spark Plugs / Wires – spark plug wires and spark plugs are the original equipment recommend to replace by mileage. Driveline (Axles / CV Shafts) – front axle shaft u-joints have play recommend to replace Differential fluid- Frt and/or rear – front differential fluid is dark will be performing service at this time. Transfer Case fluid – transfer case fluid check plug is stripped will be extracting and performing transfer case service at this time. By time and / or mileage. – manufacturers recommending to perform oil change and a tire rotate.

    • lifted car and drained oil, took side of plastic skid plate off and took oil filter off and replaced, lowered vehicle and filled up with 5.1 quarts of 5w30 full synthetic, started vehicle and checked oil level, reset service light and put new sticker in windshield.
    • During vehicle inspection found: Priority One: 1. brake inspection. 2. replace air filter Priority Two: 1. fix support bracket underneath muffler Priority Three: 1. replace shocks and struts. Brake Fluid: brake fluid was low so topped off with dot 3 brake fluid, brake fluid being low can indicate brake pads are low recommend brake inspection Air Filter: air filter is dirty recommend to replace Brakes (Pads/Shoes): pads on front and rear are low, recommend brake inspection. Shocks / Struts: all struts are original equipment and one strut on passenger front is leaking which could cause tires to wear unevenly, recommend to replace shocks and struts Exhaust System: exhaust is rubbing up against muffler support cross member, could possibly be the sound that the customer is hearing Differential fluid- Frt and/or rear: NA Transfer Case fluid: NA Tire pressure & condition: tire pressure was at 42 psi, which can cause uneven wear. Recommended psi is 33; all tires are now at 33 psi. By time and / or mileage: OEM Recommendations by mileage: rotate tires

    • Drained oil and removed filter housing, replaced filter and o-ring, lowered car and put 5.8 quarts of 0w20, started vehicle and verified correct oil level. Reset oil life.
    • General Inspection – Priority List – Priority One: 1. Cabin air filter. Priority Two: 1. air filter. Priority Three: 1. Replace smart key battery. Inspection Findings – Cabin air filter – Cabin air filter is restricted, recommend installing new cabin air filter. Engine Oil – Oil condition is worn, level is within specs. Washer Fluid – Topped off washer fluid reservoir. Air Filter – Air filter is slightly restricted, recommend replacing air filter at the next oil change service. Fuel Filter – NA Tire pressure & condition – Set tire pressures to 40 psi. Tire date 2019.
