    • Tech road tested vehicle with customer and verified noise, sounded like from driver side front wheel area, (possible wheel bearing or differential bearing). Inspected front differential fluid and found fluid is worn with slight metallic material, recommend servicing front differential. While vehicle was on the rack, ran vehicle between 10-20 MPH, was not able to recreate original noise noted when road testing with customer, but a more high pitch noise at driver side wheel bearing / 4WD vacuum actuator is present, (see video supplied by the tech). Recommend having the previous dealer that replaced the driver side front wheel bearing assembly re-inspect repairs for proper installation. Tech road tested vehicle with CT to Keyah Grande and back with no noise noted, unable to pinpoint source of customers noise at this time. Recommend returning after driver side frt wheel bearing has been re inspected or if noise becomes more consistent. (during road test noted brake pulsation is present. Worn, warped rotors can create abnormal noises. Recommend correcting brake pulsation by resurfacing rotors if able or replacing rotors, (would need to perform a brake inspection to verify which rotors are affected).
    • General Inspection – Priority List: Priority One: 1. Inspect driver side wheel bearing installation due to noise at 4WD vacuum actuator, 2. reevaluate customers concerned noise, 3. brake inspection due to pulsation, 4. brake flush, 5. diagnose oil leak, 6. front differential service. Priority Two: 1. front struts rear shocks, 2. clear codes and reevaluate, 3. both belts Priority Three: 1. spark plugs, 2. coolant flush, 3. air filter. SEL- Code list: control interface codes u0155, u0253, u0401, u0 452. instrument cluster code u0140. power steering control module code u0401. Recommend to clear all codes and reevaluate at next oil change Oil Life %: no oil change sticker to reference to. Engine Oil: extremely dark recommend performing oil change. Brake Fluid: brake fluid is highly contaminated recommend performing flush. Power Steering Fluid: na Belts (Serpentine, Accessory, V-drive): both belts are the original equipment recommend replace by mileage Shocks / Struts: front struts and rear shocks are original equipment recommend replace by mileage only Differential fluid- Frt and/or rear: front differential fluid is a little worn with signs of very little metallic material recommend to perform flush. Rear differential fluid looks newer. Under vehicle fluid leaks: engine is leaking oil from bottom rear of motor suspecting possible rear main and/or oil pan. Recommend to clean and add dye By time and / or mileage: At 100,000 miles manufacturer recommends replace engine coolant, rear differential fluid, and spark plugs. At 120,000 miles manufacturer recommends to replace air filter.

    • General Inspection – Priority list – Priority One. 1 brake pads (see work order for repairs). 2 oil change. 3 battery terminal service. 4 recharge battery. Priority Two. 1 clear code and reevaluate. 2 clean and add dye for oil seep. 3 front struts rear shocks. 4 serpentine belt. Priority Three. 1 air filter. ( new air filter is installed in vehicle from last visit). Inspection Findings – SEL- Code list – power steering control module code u3003. recommended clear code and reevaluate. Oil Life % – no oil change sticker to reference to. Engine Oil – engine oil level is okay but condition is quite black recommend performing oil change. Power Steering Fluid – na Belts (Serpentine, Accessory, V-drive) – serpentine belt is the original equipment recommending and replaced by mileage. Battery Condition – battery is testing low recommending a recharge and retest. Cables / Connections – positive battery terminal has corrosion built up recommend performing battery terminal service. Underhood fluid leaks – vehicle has a very small seep coming from passenger side front of motor suspecting timing cover recommending to clean and add dye to confirm. Brakes (Pads/Shoes) – see brake inspection for specs Shocks / Struts – front struts and rear shocks are the original equipment recommending to replace by mileage By time and / or mileage – manufacturers recommending to replace engine air filter. filter was replaced at last visit and is still clean.

Replace fuel filter Inspection Findings – Oil Change & Filter – Preforming oil change at this time SEL- Code list – Codes present P008A 00, P1548 00, C1001 97, U0415 00, U0253 00. Recommend to diag codes Windshield / Glass – Windshield does have multiple cracks recommend windshield repair shop for these repairs Air Filter – Air filter is dirty and codes for air filter restricting air flow is present Battery Condition – Both battery’s tested good Brakes (Pads/Shoes) – Front pads are low recommend brake inspection rear pads and rotors look good Differential fluid- Frt and/or rear – Rear differential fluid is worn recommend to remove pan and inspect gears and reseal and add BG limited slip additive By time and / or mileage. – OEM recommendations based by mileage 1. Replace air filter 2. Replace fuel filter 3. Replace rear axle fluid.
    • Lifted up truck and started to drain oil. Once I was done draining I tightened down drain plug and cleaned off oil pan then I removed oil filter and let that drain once oil filter was done draining I filled up oil filter with 1 quart of 5W 40 then I installed oil filter and tighten down. Then I lowered vehicle and filled up with 13 quart of 5w40 and started vehicle, checked oil level and wrote new sticker and reset oil life.
    • Performed tire rotate and inspected brake pads life. Found front brake pads are worn to 3 mm, see added line for brake pad replacement. Rotated tires, torqued wheel to 150 ft lbs, set front tire pressures to 65 psi and rear tires to 75 psi and re learned position. DOT date 2023.
    • Removed secondary fuel filter under truck and let that drain one done draining I removed housing and replace filter and gasket, the I tightened down all 6 bolts and made sure I wasn’t leaking, then I moved to the engine bay and removed up fuel filter, had to remove three hoses and clips once all off I removed old fuel filter and replaced with new, made sure that all clips and hoses where secure. Reset fuel filter life and verified no leaks.
    • Performed rear diff fluid service, R&R pan, cleaned and resealed, refilled using recommended fluid with added limited slip additive to spec's.
    • Removed and replaced front brake pads per recommendations. Road tested to verify repairs.

    • Removing replaced oil filter. drained oil and refilled with 15 quarts of 15W40. vehicle is not equipped with a maintenance light. stickered vehicle for 5,000 miles at 259462. double check oil level confirming service complete.
    • Removed OEM block heater cable and installed customer provided replacement. found customer provided part to be too short to route in the same locations as OEM. rerouted along the frame putting plug in back in the same location as previous.
    • General Inspection – Priority List – Priority One. 1 brake inspection with brake flush. 2 coolant pressure test. 3 diagnose hydro boost / master cylinder, engine ,and transmission leaks. 4 diagnose codes. Priority Two. 1 license plate light. 2 wiper blades. Priority Three. 1 fuel filter. 2 tire rotate. 3 air filter. 4 oil change. Inspection Findings – SEL- Code list – multiple repeating codes in the engine and anti-theft codes. recommending to clear all codes and reevaluate to diagnose Wiper Blades – wiper blades are a little worn recommend to replace Lights (Head, Brake, Turn) – driver side license plate light is out recommend to replace bulb and recheck. Brake Fluid – brake fluid is highly contaminated and master cylinder and or hydroboost are leaking recommend to clean and add dye to power steering system and perform brake flush. Brakes (Pads/Shoes) – front pads are extremely low and all four rotors have hot spots recommend performing brake inspection Under vehicle fluid leaks. – signs of coolant leak possibly water pump recommend performing pressure test. transmission inline filter as signs of leaking suspecting possible clamp. recommending to clean, replace clamp, and add dye to transmission to confirm leak. engine is also leaking oil suspecting coming from engine valley recommending to clean and add dye By time and / or mileage. – manufacturers recommending brake inspection, replacement of air filter, oil change, fuel filters, and tire rotate.

    • Test drove vehicle; verified customer concern of noise in front brakes found driver front caliper to be missing top mounting bolt and lower bolt was loose installed new hardware. Inspected remaining three tires for possible loose hardware and found all to be OK. Road tested vehicle 10 miles confirmed no further concerns with brake system

    • Tested fuses and confirm good. Found no power coming out of trailer control module due to control module not recognizing our test connector to be a trailer, which confirms that power is able to get to connector if control module does recognize a trailer connected.
    • Removed and replaced all six spark plugs and spark plug boots. Road tested vehicle 10 miles confirming services complete.

    • General Inspection: PRIORITY ONE: 1. battery, 2. battery terminal service, 3. clear codes, oil dye test. PRIORITY TWO: 1. air filter, 2. bulb CEL- Code list: multiple codes recommend to clear codes and reevaluate. Lights (Head, Brake, Turn): driver fog lamp is out recommend to replace bulb and recheck. Engine Oil: oil leak, recommend to clean and perform dye test. Air Filter: air filter is a little dirty recommend to replace at next service. Battery Condition: battery test came back bad recommend to replace battery. Cables / Connections: corrosion on negative terminal recommend battery terminal service.
    • Removed, cleaned/lubed and inspected all four wheel braking components. Inspected entire system for leaks. Going to service all pads and sliders, while pulling vehicle out, had extremely soft brake pedal, found master cylinder rear seal blew out, recommend to replace master cylinder and brake booster.
    • After oil change: drained and refilled with 6 quarts 5W30 full synthetic and a can of moa, replaced oil filter, new sticker set for 5000 miles at 199,427, current odometer is at 194,427, verified oil level is full, oil maintenance was reset.
    • removed and replaced brake booster and master cylinder, bled brake system with dot 4 lv fluid. road tested 10 miles confirming repair
    • Removed and replaced power brake booster and brake master cylinder, bled brake system with dot 4 low viscosity brake fluid, road tested 10 miles confirming repair.
