  • Test Drive vehicle to verify customer concern. Check and inspect suspension & steering components: ball joints, tie rods, idler/pitman arms, springs, bushings, shafts, struts/shocks and all applicable items for damage. Found noise to be coming from both wheel wells, although struts are leaking they have yet to become weak and are not making any noise and pass bounce test.

  • General Inspection Priority One: 1. oil consumption test, 2. clear codes Priority Two: 1. air filter, 2. cabin air filter, 3. bulbs SEL- Code list – multiple codes recommend to clear codes and reevaluate Cabin air filter – cabin air filter is pretty dirty recommend to replace Lights (Head, Brake, Turn) – front driver marker lamp is out recommend to replace bulb and recheck Engine Oil – engine oil is one quart low prior to oil change, found no signs of oil leak, recommend oil consumption test Air Filter – air filter is pretty dirty recommend to replace
  • Performed cooling system flush using BG cooling system flush kit- replace thermostat and reverse flush, add recommended coolant to spec's.

  • Evacuated and recharged AC system. Evac Freon amount __0___ lbs. Recharged with _0.94__ lbs of Freon, Pag Oil & Dye. Tested pressures High (IN) _125__, Low (IN)_20__ and finished at High (OUT)__200_, Low (OUT)__30_vent temps at _81_deg F (IN) and finishing at __44_ deg F (OUT). Inspected for leaks. after A/C recharge ran system for 45 minutes and road test 10 miles reinspected system for leaks. found no leaks at this time. recommend customer to return if AC loses charge.
  • General Inspection Priority List: Priority One. 1. brake inspection 2. transmission fluid exchange 3. front differential fluid exchange 4. battery corrosion protectant and cleaning Priority Two. 1. serpentine belt replacement 2. front marker light replacement During vehicle inspection found: SEL- Code list – multiple codes recommend further diagnosis Oil Life % – no sticker/oil life indicator, however oil color is good Cabin air filter – cabin air filter dirty will replace with AC Service Lights (Head, Brake, Turn) – found passenger side rear marker lamp is out, recommend installing new bulb. Belts: engine, accessory, serpentine, V-drive – belt cracked in multiple spots recommend replacing Air Filter – k&n air filter Transmission fluid – transmission fluid dark in color recommend replacing Cables / Connections – bad corrosion for cables likely cause of multiple low voltage codes; recommend cleaning and installing anti corrosion spray Brakes (Pads/Shoes) – front and rear brake pads are low recommend brake inspection Differential fluid- Frt and/or rear – front differential fluid extremely dark in color, recommend exchanging. rear differential fluid level and condition is good; however check plug for rear differential was loose, tightened plug.

Front Brake Pads Measurements – front pads are at 3 mm, Front Brake Rotor Thickness – 0.911, spec 0.87 Front Rotor Runout – 0.003, spec is 0.003 Rear Brake Pad / Shoes Measurements -3mm Rear Disc / Drum Thickness – 0.365 spec is 0.059 Rear Disc Rotor Runout – 0.002, spec is 0.0028 Recommend to replace front pads and rotors, and rear pads and rotors. Repairs performed – Replaced front brake pads and rotors and this time only per customers request, road tested vehicle and verified repairs.

  • No leaks found at this time of inspection.
  • During vehicle inspection found: Priority One: 1. brake inspection, 2. replace tires due to age Priority Two: 1. replace bulbs SEL- Code list: multiple codes multiple modules recommend to clear codes and re-evaluate, see pictures for more detail Cabin air filter: dirty recommend to replace Lights (Head, Brake, Turn): both front side marker lights are out recommend to replace bulbs and recheck Belts: belt is a little worn recommend to replace Air Filter: dirty recommend to replace Battery Condition: good, recommend to recharge Brakes (Pads/Shoes): brake pads look a little low recommend brake inspection Tire pressure & condition: all four tires have a little inner tire wear recommend alignment check. Tires are about 7 years old- recommend replacing due to age.

  • General Inspection Priority List – Priority One : 1 – air filter, 2 – cabin air filter and disinfect HVAC housing, 3 – replace driver side high beam bulb, 4 – battery terminal service and retest battery. Priority Two : 1 – 60000 MI services including – replace spark plugs, brake fluid flush, BG epr engine flush, BG air induction service, CVT transmission fluid flush. Priority Three : 1 – brake service before winter. Inspection findings : SEL- Code list – Performed vehicle pre scan and found multiple history codes in multiple modules, recommend performing battery terminal service and testing battery before addressing history codes. See picture for code details and we'll supply customer with pre scan print out. Oil Life % – According to oil sticker vehicle has gone 16000 miles between last oil change, found engine oil very dark / black in color, recommend BG epr engine flush, also noted vehicle is 1/2 quart low on engine oil. See picture for condition and engine oil level. Cabin air filter – Cabin air filter is extremely restricted and a lot of debris is clogging filter, recommend replacing cabin air filter and disinfecting HVAC housing assembly. See picture for cabin air filter condition. Wiper Blades – Recommend replacing wiper blades. Lights (Head, Brake, Turn) – Driver side high beam headlamp bulb is out, recommend replacing. Brake Fluid – Brake fluid flush is recommended at 60,000 miles per OEM maintenance schedule, used brake fluid test strip and verified brake fluid condition is good, see picture for details. Air Filter – Air filter is very restricted, recommend replacing air filter, see picture for air filter condition. Transmission fluid – CVT transmission fluid flush as recommended by OEM mileage service maintenance schedule. Spark Plugs / Wires – Spark plug replacement is recommended by OEM maintenance schedule. Cables / Connections – Battery terminals have acid collection, recommend performing battery terminal service and testing battery. See picture for battery terminal condition. Brakes (Pads/Shoes) – All brake pads looked at have good pad life, found dust buildup on inner wheels, recommend brake service before winter. Tire pressure & condition – Adjusted all tire pressure to 36 PSI. All tires are in good condition and are dated 2020
  • Performed oil change service, replaced oil drain plug seal, added BG MOA with recommended 0W20 engine oil to spec's, added oil change sticker, Next LOF recommended at 67321 miles or 1/12/2022 whichever comes first.
  • CABIN & AIR FILTER – Remove & Replace, included disinfecting.
  • Remove & replace high beam bulb.
  • Clean and inspect battery terminals/connection

SEL- Code list: engine history code p1572. anti-lock brake codes c0076, c0042, 57. body integrated units codes b11 01, b1102, b1104, u 1201, B1500. tire pressure monitoring codes 11, 12, 13, 14, 24, 61,. recommend to clear all codes and reevaluate next oil change. Oil Life %: according to oil sticker vehicle has gone over a thousand miles. Cabin air filter: cabin air filter is extremely restricted recommend to replace. Lights (Head, Brake, Turn): driver side brake light is out recommend replacing bulb and re-inspect. Engine Oil: oil level is not registering on dipstick. Only drained 3 and 1/2 quarts from oil pan. There is an engine oil leak coming from timing cover area on driver side recommended clean and add dye to confirm. Air Filter: air filter is restricted recommend to replace.
  • Removed and replaced oil filter. Drain and refilled with 5.5 courts of 0w-20 and a can of moa. Sticker vehicle for 5000 MI vehicle is not equipped with a maintenance light.
