- Found codes c1956 for right hand actuator circuit. Also found codes c1921 and c1942. Both history codes. In abs module. Open tsb on current actuator code for possible damaged connector at caliper with upgraded part Highly suspect as I can not hear passenger actuator engaging. Inspected and found that intact connector retainer is broken also found that driver side connector is tied to caliper with bulk wire to keep in place. Recommend to remove and replace parking brake actuator connectors with upgraded part indicated in TSB.
- General Inspection – Priority List – Priority One 1 brake inspection 2 valve cover gaskets and plugs 3 drive belts 4 coolant pressure test 5 oil change Priority Two 1 air filter 2 diag codes Priority Three 1 diag horns Inspection Findings – Oil Change & Filter – According to sticker. Oil change is due SEL- Code list – Multiple codes in multiple modules. A lot of power supply voltage codes. Recommend diag of all Other – Horn does not operate. Recommend diagnosis Engine Oil – Level is okay. Condition is darkish in color. Used Antifreeze/Coolant – Level low. Recommend pressure test Belts (Engine, accessory, serpentine, V-drive) – Belt is cracked. Recommend replacing Air Filter – Dirty recommend replacing Spark Plugs / Wires – Oil seeping from driver side spark plug chambers. Likely has started to compromise plugs. Recommend replacing with valve cover gaskets – Underhood fluid leaks. Oil seeping from spark plug chambers on driver side. Recommend valve cover gaskets w spark plugs Brakes (Pads/Shoes) – Pads appear low rotors have heavy grooving recommend brake inspection.
