    • Scanned vehicle fro codes, P0010 for intake cam position actuator circuit presnent. Vehicle has not freeze frame data saved during fault. Road tested vehicle while moitoring live data, found actuator actual position not matching desired position comanded by the ECU. Also verified when fault is active, brake booster is loosing vacuum causing hard brake pedal. Inspected VVT circuits, verified terminal pin fitment. Inspected and found TSB 15-01-022 for possible internal seal leaing causing fault. Recommending having TSB inspect by dealer and repaired.
    • General Inspection – Priority List – Priority One. 1 see work order. 2 valve cover gasket. 3 driver side front c/v shaft. 4. hood struts. 5 adjust engine oil level. Priority Two. 1 alternator belt. 2 front struts rear shocks. 3 clear all other codes. Priority Three. 1 cabin air filter. 2 engine air filter. 3 coolant flush. 4 tire rotate. 5 oil change. Inspection Findings – SEL- Code list – engine code p001000. body control module code b121400. weight classified code b11216. see work order for engine code recommending to clear all other. Other – hood struts are not functioning recommend to replace. underneath is missing undercover and is causing passenger side inner wheel wall to rub against tire. recommending to install new with new hardware Engine Oil – engine oil condition is okay but level is a little overfilled recommending to adjust. Power Steering Fluid – na Belts (Serpentine, Accessory, V-drive) – alternator serpentine belt is the original equipment recommended to replace by mileage only Underhood fluid leaks – valve cover gasket is leaking. recommend to replace gaskets and reinspect for any other leaks. Brakes (Pads/Shoes) – visually inspected brakes look okay. Shocks / Struts – front struts and rear shocks are the original equipment recommending to replace by mileage. Driveline (Axles / CV Shafts) – driver side CV shaft inner boot is ripped recommend to replace CV shaft Under vehicle fluid leaks – rear of engine is covered in oil suspecting due to valve cover leak recommend to replace valve cover gasket and reinspect for any other leaks. By time and / or mileage – manufacturers recommending to replace engine air filter, cabin air filter, engine coolant, oil change, and tire rotate.
