- Ran vehicle at idle to test for customer concern. Was unable to ever get the overheating light to come on, but did confirm AC stopped working after vehicle gets to 228°F. Performed AC Evac/Recharge Service to inspect & test AC system. Evacuated 1.1 lbs of freon and recharged 1.5 lbs. Found lack of airflow through radiator causing vehicle to reach higher temperatures and shutting off the AC refrigerant flow. Removed the upper radiator mounts and washed debris from radiator. Retested at hot part of day for about an hour finding engine coolant not to reach over 210°F with AC functioning the whole time. Test drove vehicle 10 MI to verify repairs.
