    • Front Brake Condition – Passenger side front pad thickness is that 5 mm, rotor thickness is at 1. 175 in, lateral runout is at 0.0003 in. driver's side front brake pad thickness measures at 6 mm, rotor thickness is at 1. 173 in and lateral run out is at 0.0003. ( min rotor spec's – 1.102, Max lateral runout – 0.0007). Rear Brake Condition – passenger and driver side rear brake pad thickness is that 4 mm, rotor thickness is at 0. 780 in, lateral runout is at 0.0004.( min rotor thickness – 0.728, Max runout – 0.0007). Notes – Road tested vehicle 10 miles and verified slight brake pulsation during break apply. Recommending replacing front and rear brake pads and rotor, reason, rotor may get worn heat heated to operating temp.

    • Removed and replaced both oxygen sensors, cleared codes, performed O2 sensor reset procedure. Road tested vehicle while monitoring live data, found O2 sensor erratic at times, re inspected for possible other cause of lean condition, see additional oil fluid leak line for further explanation on issues found.
    • Road tested vehicle 10 miles found valve cover to be leaking and check engine light return with code p0131 for oxygen sensor circuit low voltage sensor 1. Retesting a oxygen sensor confirming it is functioning, but fuel trims are off the charts both short-term and long-term hit and 35 positive. Found tsb's for intake manifold that need to be performed and cylinder out of round. Removed spark plugs inspected cylinder walls wth borescope, found grooves cut into cylinders but found no signs of out of round. Confirm that valve cover is leaking oil. Due to internal cylinder damage, causing excessive blow-by, causing erratic O2 sensor readings, loss of oil due to leaking valve cover gasket ( caused by excessive internal engine blow by). Recommending engine rebuild or replacement.
    • Unable to duplicate customers described concern at this time.
    • Pressure test coolant system and found a crack in the water outlet causing the leak. Also noticed the upper radiator hose and oil cooler hose is swelling due to oil leaks. Recommending to replace the water outlet. along with oil cooler hose and upper radiator hose, re pressure test after repairs and road test to confirm repair.
    • Remove water outlet in, found heater hose to be swelled was unable to see hose previous inspection. After installing water outlet found quick disconnect on water bleeder hose to be broken and hose itself to be swollen. Installed new bleeder hose, re pressure tested / road tested to confirm repairs.

    • Upon inspection found coolant to be a half a gallon low, topped off and pressure test, found coolant leaking onto top of transmission from vent tube for AC. Checked floorboard and confirmed that heater core is leaking and needs to be replaced. Windshield will need to be replaced to remove instrument panel tie bar. By passed heater core at this time in order to keep coolant from leaking, – NOTE- vehicle will not have heater option until heater core is replaced.
    • Removed and replaced oil filter, drained oil and refilled with 5W30 full synthetic 8 quarts and a can of moa. sticker ed vehicle for 5,000 mi and reset maintenance light. double check the oil level.
    • General Inspection – Priority List – Priority One: 1 – heater core/windshield. 2 – brake flush. 3 – clear codes and reevaluate. 4 – brake inspection. Priority Two: 1 – all four struts. Inspection findings – SEL- Code list – multiple body control module tire pressure monitoring and HVAC codes recommended clear all codes and reevaluate. Windshield / Glass – windshield is cracked recommend replacement. Brake Fluid – brake fluid is highly contaminated recommend to perform flush. Antifreeze/Coolant – see you work order for heater core. Air Filter – air filter is a little dirty recommend to replace. Brakes (Pads/Shoes) – brakes are getting low recommend performing brake inspection by next oil change. Shocks / Struts – all four struts by mileage only.

    • Codes present at time of testing- P0036, P0054, P0101, P0141, P0171, P0174, P2A01. See previous line for O2 sensor codes repairs under warranty. Verifed lean condition at higher RPM's, fuel pressure with in spec's, Found MAF readings low at operating temp, road tested and verified on exhaust restrictions, attached lab scope to verify MAF sensor has no glitches or drop outs, performed VE test and verified engine breathing restricted due too low MAF readings, also recommending performing ignition tune and perforing BG air induction service to further help volumetric efficiency.
    • During vehicle inspection found: Front windshield has a star near the center of the lower windshield. Engine oil was 1/4qt low prior to oil change. Recommending brake fluid flush due to very dark fluid. Heater hose and cooling hoses are recommended by time and mileage. Tires set to 40psi.
    • Found Bank 1 sensor 2 damaged due to front driveshaft contacting circuit, installed new O2 sensor- Previous repairs included installing reman transfer case assembly, circuits mis routed causing circuit contact at frt driveshaft. Replaced under warranty.
    • In combination with BG air induct service. Installed MAF sensor after services performed, cleared codes and road tested vehicle, performed VE test and verified increase of 16-18% increase of VE., verified MAF reading normal at higher RPM's.
    • Installed new belts.
    • Installed new spark plugs, gaped to spec's.
    • Performed BG air induction service.
    • Performed engine oil drain and refill using recommended engine oil with added BG MOA.
    • Replaced oil filter.

    • During road test down vehicle when braking has slight brake pulsation, recommend full brake inspection to measure rotor run-out, found windshield washer pump is inop requesting test time, also found front windshield is cracked in the center of the windshield, oil level 1 quart low before performing inspection added one quart of recommended 0w 20 engine oil also found air filter restricted battery is testing bad. Services recommended by time and mileage – cabin air filter, transfer case, front and rear differential and recommend BG epr and air induction service with an oil change to help minimize oil consumption also noted slight internal engine noise on cold start performed volumetric efficiency test and verified engine is breathing normal, recommend relative compression test to help pinpoint possible valve train noise
