    • CUSTOMER STATES SHE HAS A RATTLING NOISE COMING FORM UNDER VEHICLE WHILE DRIVING, ALSO STATES HER A/C IS INTERMITTENT. ALSO STATES THE PAST COUPLE WEEKS SHE HAS HAD A BURNING SMELL COMING FROM UNDER VEHICLE. CHECK AND ADVISE.
    • Inspected starter. Found residue of starter overheated and started to melt in places. Recommend replacing starter and retesting.
    • During vehicle inspection found: Priority One: 1. address starting issue, 2. oil change/dye test, 3. air filter, 4. recharge battery, 5. further diag codes Priority Two: 1. brake flush SEL- Code list: multiple codes recommend to further diag Oil Life %: no sticker Engine Oil: oil leak, looks like possible timing cover and or front of oil pan, recommend to clean and perform dye test, engine oil is dark, recommend oil change Brake Fluid: brake fluid test came back a little dark recommend brake flush Air Filter: air filter is dirty recommend to replace Battery Condition: good, recommend to recharge
    • Final Tech Notes and Checklist: starter. Repairs performed: removed and replace starter, attempted to start engine and starter was engaging but engine was not turning over, found crank pulley was not turning over by hand, removed serpentine belt and crank fully turned over, found AC compressor pulley is seized, recommend to replace AC compressor.
    • Drained engine oil and filled with a 5w20 synthetic blend engine oil and a can of moa, replaced oil filter, new sticker set for 3000 miles at 231,127, current odometer is at 228,127, verified oil level is full, replaced air filter.
    • Clean area from excess fluid leak. Add dye to system (and top off if needed) to determine cause of leak. If leak is not revealed, may need to have customer return after driving for some time.
    • Final Tech Notes and Checklist: brake flush. Repairs performed: performed brake flush with dot 4 fluid, test drove 10 miles confirming repair.
    • Final Tech Notes and Checklist: Ac compressor, belt, map sensor. Repairs performed: Removed and replaced ac compressor, did not fill with Freon and did not hook up electrical to compressor, replaced serpentine belt, replaced broken map sensor.

    • General Inspection: priorities: 1. third brake light. 2. rear differential pinion seal. 3. serpentine belt. 4. front struts rear shocks. 5. clear codes and reevaluate. CEL- Code list: Central gateway codes b16 2d, b1820, b1660. door module code b1d17, b1d14. recommending to clear all codes and reevaluate. Oil Life %: no oil change sticker to reference to. Lights (Head, Brake, Turn): third brake light is out recommend to replace bulb and recheck. Belts (Engine, accessory, serpentine, V-drive): serpentine belt is the original equipment recommend to replace by mileage. Shocks / Struts: front struts and rear shocks are the original equipment recommend to replace by mileage. Differential fluid- Frt and/or rear: rear differential pinion seal is seeping recommend to keep an eye on.
    • Final Tech Notes and Checklist: customers States vehicle seems to sputter sometimes. Completed: road test vehicle 13 miles and found more for sputtering nose not really a feeling. using scan data confirm no misfire but deactivation solenoids do kick active when sputtering is happening. confirming that the sputtering noise is due to vehicle going into 4-cylinder mode normal operation and is more pronounced due to the aftermarket muffler install.
    • After oil change: removed and replaced oil filter. drain the oil and refilled with 7 quarts of 5W20 synthetic blend and a can of moa. Replaced sticker vehicle for 3,000 mi at 122780. vehicle seems not to have a maintenance light but did do reset procedure just in case. double check oil level and confirm service complete.

    • Checked fluid condition confirm that it's normal. Checked fluid level found level to be slightly overfilled. Removed transmission fluid to correct level for transmission with scan tool performed transmission quick learn, test drove 10 MI and confirming no abnormal shifting or noises. However during general inspection found possible transmission oil pan leak, would recommend further inspection of leak.

    • Accessed EGR Cooler inlet hose end that is leaking. Removed old o-ring and replaced with new part. Re-installed hose and topped off cooling system with recommended anti-freeze (50/50 mix). Test drove vehicle to verify repairs. After 11 miles, vehicle did not overheat; cooling system temps within specs.
    • coolant was a gallon low top off pressure tested found EGR bypass cooler hose is leaking test drove 10 miles after topping off vehicle has not overheat recommend replacing o-ring And re-test
    • During vehicle inspection found: Air filter is dirty. Transmission pan is seeping; recommend transmission fluid, gasket and filter, Muffler is damaged/broken at exhaust pipe.
