    • Lifted up truck and drained oil. Removed and installed new oil filter. Tightened down drain plug and filled with 10 quarts of 15w40. Started vehicle, double checked oil level and no leaks are present. Wrote new sticker. Reset oil life: next oil change is due at 85,435
    • Performed starting and charging system test – CT noted cluster not reading battery voltage, no abnormal charging system notes when driving vehicle into shop.
    • General Inspection – Priority List – Priority One 1. Transmission service 2. Brake inspection 3. Brake flush 3. Front and rear differential service 4. Replace tires due to age 5. Steering and suspension inspection 6 Replace fuel filter. Priority Two 1. Transfer case service 2. Add dye to oil system to pin point leaks 3. Diag windshield wiper sprayers aren’t working Priority Three 1. Rotate tires. Inspection Findings – Oil Change & Filter – Preforming oil change at this time SEL- Code list – Current codes B1035, B0418, B2575, B2600 Cabin air filter – Vehicle dosent have a cabin air filter Wiper Blades – Wipers don’t spray any washer fluid recommend to diag further Brake Fluid – Brake fluid is highly corrosive recommend BG brake flush Power Steering Fluid – Power steering fluid is worn recommend BG power steering flush Transmission fluid – Transmission fluid is extremely dirty recommend servicing. Brakes (Pads/Shoes) – When pulling vehicle in felt slight brake pulsation, rotors are rusted but pads look good, recommend brake inspection based by brake slight brake pulsation Fuel Filter – Recommend to replace fuel filter based on mileage Differential fluid- Frt and/or rear – Front and rear differential fluid is worn recommend servicing Transfer Case fluid – Transfer case fluid is worn recommend to drain and inspect fluid and refill Tire pressure & condition – Tires are from 2011 tires are eight years old recommend tire shop for repairs, tires also have wear on inside and out side tread, only on front tires, recommend steering and suspension check and aliment check Under vehicle fluid leaks. – Oil leak possibly coming from oil pan and rear main seal recommend to add dye and clean are off By time and / or mileage. – OEM recommendations based by mileage 1. Rotate tires.
    • Brake Inspection – Re repairs, Front pads and rotors, rear pads and rotors Notes for Road Test – When on road test Felt slight brake pulsation when braking normally. Brake Fluid Notes- Brake fluid is corrosive see GI for further notes Front Brake Pads Measurements – Both front pads are at 10mm in the green Front Brake Rotor Thickness – Front rotor thickness for drivers side is 1.497 and passenger side is at 1.494 Front Rotor Runout – Drivers side rotor runout is at .004 and passenger side rotor runout is at .005 Rear Brake Pad / Shoes Measurements – Rear brake pads are at 10mm in the green, pads are starting to show signs of grooving Rear Disc / Drum Thickness – Rear rotor thickness is at 1.134 for both rear rotors are showing signs of grooving Rear Disc Rotor Runout – Rear rotor runout is at .001 for passenger side rear and for drivers side rear rotor runout is at .005 Rec Repairs – Recommendations based off of brake inspection, new front rotors with new pads for good measure, rear rotors based on rotor runout and grooving, and rear pads based on good measure and rear pads being grooved.
    • Road test notes. – Found vehicle to pull to the left didn’t notice anything else, also heard a noise coming from passenger front tire possibly wheel bearing Tires. – Tires do have inside tire wear Ball joints. – Noticed upper and lower ball joints on passenger side are lose, possibly caused by wheel bearing recommend to replace upper and lower ball joint on passenger side Wheel bearings – Lifted front end of vehicle and found passenger front wheel bearing to be lose, recommend replacing passenger front wheel bearing before aliment Inspection Notes – Found passenger side wheel bearing is out recommend to replace both wheel bearing before alime

    • RnR oil and filter. Filled engine with 8qt of 5w30 w one can of BG MOA. Confirmed level stickered vehicle for 5k and reset oil life.
    • General Inspection – Prioirty Priority one: 1. replace battery 2. replace air filter 3. flush brake system and refill with new brake fluid. Priority two: 1. Fix leak on rear differential out put shaft seal. Priority three 1 Diag tpms codes possibly need tire shop Inspection Findings – SEL- Code list – Tpms codes Brake Fluid – Brake fluid contaminated recommend replacing Air Filter – air filter is dirty recommending to replace Battery Condition – Battery tested bad recommend replacing Under vehicle fluid leaks. – rear differential out put shaft seal is seaping on drivers side, recommending to check on it next time it gets serviced

    • Performed oil change service, drained engine oil, found oil drain plug hard to removed, Installed new drain plug, replaced oil filter and installed new seal, refilled engine assembly with recommended engine oil to spec's, reset oil life, added oil change sticker and re inspected to verify fluid level and no leaks at time to service.
    • Added DEF fluid.
    • Performed tire rotate.
    • Road tested vehicle and verified no noise noted at time of road test, no brake pulsation noted. Removed and inspected brake pads, found excessive amount of mud collection under vehicle, found brake pads glazed due to dust and mud, performed brake system service, de-glazed brake pads, verified brake pad life measured at 12 mm both front and rear brake pads. Road tested vehicle after servicing brake system to verify brake system operating as designed.

    • Removed & replaced surge tank with cap, topped off cooling system and re pressure tested, found additional leak at driver side upper radiator assembly, recommending replacing and retesting. Customer declined additional repairs at this time.
    • Replaced upper radiator hose, performed vacuum bleed and refilled cooling system, re pressure tested and verified coolant reservoir is leaking, recommending replacing reservoir, cap and re test.

    • Found codes for shorted heater circuits. Found tsb that indicates a pin fit issue that causes connected to burn and short out. Removed cover to gain access to connector and found exactly that a burnt terminal pin. Using picks adjusted male pin and female pin to attempt to create a tighter fit. Will attempt to clear codes but suspect that short has damaged heater circuit. Recommending having repairs performed at dealer.
    • Reinstalled drain plug. Removed and replaced oil filter filled engine with 10qt of oil and confirmed no leaks. Stickered vehicle for 5000 miles. Due to current codes unable to reset oil life as I can’t access features on dash. Customer requested fuel filter life reset. Was able to reset.
    • General Inspection – Priority List – Priority One 1 recommended work order repairs 2 fuel filter Priority Two 1 diag other codes Inspection Findings – Fuel Filter – Truck requested to change. Recommend replacing By time and / or mileage. – ATF exchange Air filter Cabin Fuel filter T case fluid All good aside from fuel filter as truck is requesting fuel filter service

    • Replaced thermostat.
    • Performed cooling system flush using BG cooling system flush kit- see added line for thermostat replacment, add recommended coolant to spec's.
    • Perform air induction service using BG fuel service kit.
    • Removed and replaced all six spark plug and spark plug coils boots. Found that valve cover gasket are leaking oil into spark plug tubes.Recommending resealing valve cover. Cleared all codes and road test vehicle 10 miles confirming service completed.
    • Installed new bulbs.
    • Scan OBD-II for trouble codes.
    • General Inspection – Priority List – Priority One. 1 brake flush. 2 tires. 3 valve cover gasket. 4 reevaluate and diagnose codes. Priority Two. 1 front struts rear shocks. 2 front tire center caps. Inspection Findings – SEL- Code list – engine code P0496. antilock brake code C4 55. airbag code U1016. liftgate control module code C0760, C0775. passenger pretensioner system code U1016, seat module code U1046, U1016. tire pressure monitoring codes C0670, C0775. Recommending to farther diagnose EVAP code and clear all other codes. Lights (Head, Brake, Turn) – Driver side license plate light is out. see final notes for bulb replacement. Brake Fluid – Brake fluid is contaminated recommend performing flush. Antifreeze/Coolant – See final notes for coolant flush. Air Filter – Air filters dirty and will be replaced at this time. Spark Plugs / Wires – Air induction service and spark plug removal replacement is being performed on this visit. Shocks / Struts – Front struts and rear shocks are the original equipment recommend to replace by age and miles. Tire pressure & condition – All four tires were set to 29 psi. did set him to 35. all four tires look like they're in very good condition no weather cracking or abnormal wear but do have a DOT date of 2014 recommending to replace by age. Found both front center caps are missing.

    • Verified customers concern by performing a vehicle scan and verified code P0304 present. Scanned live data and verified cylinder number for has active misfire. Inspected secondary ignition system and found no visual faults. Tested injector circuits and ignition coil circuits and verified all present within specs. Performed compression test and cylinder leak down test and found no fault on cylinder number four. Removed all spark plugs and found cylinder number three has excessively worn spark plug and oil soaked. Performed compression test and verified compression on cylinder number three is within specs. Found worn secondary ignition system. Recommend performing ignition tuneup including AC Delco assistance spark plugs and premium spark plug wires.

    • General Inspection Priority List: Priority one 1 recommended brake repairs 2 replace front tires 3 diag engine oil leak 4. diag of all codes During vehicle inspection found: SEL- Code list – Multiple codes in multiple modules recommend diag of all Engine Oil – Engine oil level low found leaks under vehicle recommend dye testing and re inspecting Brakes (Pads/Shoes) – all rotors have excessive run out and heavy brake pulsation present. Recommend all new rotors and maybe pads for good measure. Tire pressure & condition – Both front tires over 8 years old. Passenger side went flat between road test and pulling into bay. Side wall has damage, highly suggest to replace both front tires
    • Test drove vehicle; verified heavy brake pulsation. Removed, cleaned/lubed and inspected all four wheel braking components. Inspected entire system for leaks. Recommendation: Replace front and rear rotors due to excessive lateral run out, and all pads ( due to the unknown brake pad compond)
    • DISC ROTOR – Remove & Replace – Front,Both – [Includes: Repack Wheel Bearings (where applicable) and replace Pads (if necessary). DOES NOT include refinishing.]
    • DISC ROTOR – Remove & Replace – Rear,Both – [Includes: Repack Wheel Bearings (where applicable) and replace Pads (if necessary). DOES NOT include refinishing.]
    • Check brake fluid for moisture and contamination. Inspect all hydraulic line and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Flush entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders until clean.

    • Evacuated and recharged AC system. Evac Freon low by .4 lbs. Recharged with 1.46 lbs of freon and Pag Oil & Dye. Tested pressures High (IN) 100, Low (IN) 35, and finished at High (OUT) 100, Low (OUT) 35. Vent temps at 49 deg F (IN) and finishing at 45 deg F (OUT). Inspected for leaks as system was 0.4 lbs low on freon. No signs of leaks at this time but did add dye for next technician to find with UV light. Did find cabin air filter to be extremely restricted, recommend replacing filter. Topped off washer fluid and found reservoir is leaking and needs to be replaced.

    • Scan vehicle for codes found code P0300 for engine misfire and code P0506 for idle air control system RPM too low. Using scan tool monitoring data, confirmed misfire mainly is on cylinder number 3. Removed number three coil and relocated to cylinder number two. Confirmed misfire has followed coil. Removed all 5 coils and inspected valve cover confirming valve cover does have a little bit of seepage. Recommend to keep an eye on valve cover seep. Noticed while having intake tube off that throttle plate is extremely restricted; air induction service needs to be performed to remove excess build up. Removed spark plugs and verified plugs are Auto Light Platinum style plugs. Iridium plugs are required by OEM. Recommend replacing all ignition coils, new OEM spark plugs and performing air induction/fuel system service.
    • Performed BG Air induction and fuel system cleaning.
