- Found codes for shorted heater circuits. Found tsb that indicates a pin fit issue that causes connected to burn and short out. Removed cover to gain access to connector and found exactly that a burnt terminal pin. Using picks adjusted male pin and female pin to attempt to create a tighter fit. Will attempt to clear codes but suspect that short has damaged heater circuit. Recommending having repairs performed at dealer.
- Reinstalled drain plug. Removed and replaced oil filter filled engine with 10qt of oil and confirmed no leaks. Stickered vehicle for 5000 miles. Due to current codes unable to reset oil life as I can’t access features on dash. Customer requested fuel filter life reset. Was able to reset.
- General Inspection – Priority List – Priority One 1 recommended work order repairs 2 fuel filter Priority Two 1 diag other codes Inspection Findings – Fuel Filter – Truck requested to change. Recommend replacing By time and / or mileage. – ATF exchange Air filter Cabin Fuel filter T case fluid All good aside from fuel filter as truck is requesting fuel filter service
