- The hood release cable needs to be replaced. Tested and confirmed spark plugs, coils and fuel injectors are not the cause of the misfire (vehicle has spark); need to remove valve cover and perform valve adjustments to see if that eliminates the misfire. Will need to do a BG air induction service before valve adjustment to ensure that the valves are clean and making good seal before adjustment.
