- Concern: Have to consistently jump vehicle. How customers concern was verified: Had to jump battery. Parts and Labor needed for repairs: Recommend replacing battery and then performing alternator test. Final notes on repairs performed: Sent battery to be charge tested and had it returned as okay after charge. installed battery. Results of retesting after repair: Performed amp draw test on alternator with hood charge on battery and found that at idle alternator is putting out 25 amp. Under load alternator is putting out 148 amps performed battery starter and charging system voltage test and all tested good Performed draw test and found no draws. Let vehicle sit over weekend and vehicle started right up. Additional Recommendations / Follow up: No recommendations at this time.
- After oil change: Installed drain plug. Removed and replaced filter. Filled engine with oil to factory specs. With one can of BG MOA. confirmed no leaks and oil level is correct stickered vehicle for 3000 miles.
- General Inspection: PRIORITY ONE: 1 all recommended repairs 2 oil change PRIORIY TWO: 1 replace rear shocks Oil Life %: Oil change 100 miles overdue. Engine Oil: Overdue for oil change. Recommend service. Battery Condition: Battery completely dead. Will not turn on tester. Will charge while performing I got rest of general and reinspected Attempted to charge battery. Charger indicates battery is bad. Shocks / Struts: Rear shocks blown. Recommend replacing. By time and / or mileage: Oil change. 165k maint recommends to replace both diff fluids. Both are good at this time.
