Priority Two. 1 transmission flush. 2 front struts rear shocks. 3 serpentine belt. Inspection Findings – SEL- Code list – service engine light is on. engine codes p0420, p0430. recommending to farther diagnose engine codes and clear all other codes and reevaluate next oil change Oil Life % – according to oil change sticker vehicle is 4,000 miles overdue. Engine Oil – engine has a small leaking suspect oil cooler o-ring or oil pan need to clean and add dye to confirm. Belts (Engine, accessory, serpentine, V-drive) – serpentine belt is the original equipment recommend to replace by mileage. Air Filter – air filter is extremely dirty recommend to replace. Transmission fluid – transmission fluid is a little worn recommend to perform flush. Shocks / Struts – front struts and rear shocks are original equipment recommend to replace by mileage Differential fluid- Frt and/or rear – front differential has signs of leaking need to clean and add dye to confirm. Tire pressure & condition – all four tires have light weather cracking on the wheel wall and a DOT day of 2017 recommending to replace all four tires due to age.
- removed and replaced oil filter. drained oil and refilled with 4.8 quarts of 5W-30 synthetic blend and a can of moa. stickered vehicle for a 3000 mi at 166291. vehicle is not equipped with a maintenance light or has not been set up for maintenance reminder. double check oil level confirming service complete.
