- Inspected and found no hose off of cooling system when vehicle was towed in, found cooling system low, added 1 gallon of universal 50/50 coolant, pressure tested cooling system and found no active leaking, pressure tested radiator cap at 11 psi, gasket on cap is damaged, recommending replacing cap. Warmed vehicle to operating temp and found only 1 out of 2 cooling fans functioning, tested fan and verified high speed fan motor is faulty, recommending replacing high speed cooling fan- position in font of engine. Other cooling system notes, all hoses are extremely worn, coolant is contaminated, recommending replacing all coolant hoses along with cooling system flush. However, disturbing the cooling system could reveal more problems.
